the Amy Winehouse of Boxing Kelly the DRUNK Pavlik once again shows his true alcoholic nature and embarrasses Top Rank again and all of Youngstown. pavlik should be barred and banned forever from Boxing and sentenced to life long rehab.

And to think people thought Calzaghe ducked Pavlik.

Ill stand by Pavlik. . . This fight was pointless and meaningless anyway - a given KO for Pavlik.

Ill remember Pavlik by his Miranda fight. When Miranda was a feared, hungry 160 pound bruiser. He said the fight would be "man vs. boy". yeah. . . it was. . .

lol fastblack has some deep seeded hatred in his heart for more than pavlik. . . ain't good to have all that hate in ur heart. what happened to cause that anyway?

You can't help but feel a bit for the "Son of a Preacher Man".

Cunningham is almost the polar opposite of Pavlik right now. He just goes out, works hard, and wins fights.

He deserved whatever recognition, and income opportunities this fight on Showtime was going to give him, and Pavlik screwed him out of it.

Hopefully somebody cuts Cunningham a break and he gets just rewards for doing things the right way.

I agree. Cunningham probably needed that money bad for his family.

hindsight is a hell of a thing.

At the time, Pavlik was the undefeated champion and everyone wanted to see Pavlik-Calzaghe. Joe of course opted to fight a shot jones instead.

Regardless if it's clear Joe would have beat Pavlik or not NOW, at the time he did go with the safer option.
