Hes been given the green light by golden boy, this fight will be a fall back fight if the pac fight doesnt materialise. Smart move if u ask me that way mayweather fights another credible fighter, and pac will fight ricky hatton again courtesy of uncle bob.

Remember the undefeated Ricky Hatton (who had won at WW before fighting Mayweather)?

Try again. Nobody gives Floyd credit for beating a JWW Champion. This would clearly be a "money" fight. At the end of the day people will STILL be saying Floyd is ducking someone else. Hell Pac will be considered "too small" after its all said and done. People will revert back to the old ways of "Floyd only fights smaller fighters". Irony at it's best!

Its funny how Khan thinks he's'such an amazing fighter after fightin a boxing dummy who was non existent in the last fight! Money May will fight u anywhere , and like he and the world says 41 have tried and 41 have failed u will be 43 after he picks Ortitis apart piece by piece! Khan's'hand speed is gna be irrelevant when he keeps landing then on Money Mays shoulder roll, which is da best in the game! This is gna be great fight if Manny doesn't end up takin the tests which will show the PED's'hes takin! War Mayweather! All day everyday and twice on Sundays!

Comparing ricky hatton and amir khan is well of the mark here surley you know khan is taller buy around 3 inch or so and fights tall, has a much bigger reach and has a very good jab that ricky never had, and is miles faster.

Ricky hatton was never a natural athlete khan is, Ricky was undefeated and coming to the end of his career, Khan has been defeated and is young at the start of his career.

Lets be honest ricky was barely big enough for light welterweight never mind welterweight however he was a solid, tough opponent for floyd, floyd had actually said he was his toughest fight.

Khan has everything ricky did not have in terms of skill and physical advantages and these alone stand him in much better stead for a fight with mayweather.

Floyds done well against taller fighters. He also has pretty good reach.

Right but you missed the point. Once Floyd technically destroys Khan, even plays with Khan. It will be the re-run excuse of Floyd "cherry picked" a (SMALLER) JWW Champion (like Hatton was). Never mind that being the excuse one will hear about Pac too (since he's the same size as JMM)...

The irony of it is now everyone's demanding him to fight these smaller fighters. Once he does he's ducking all the bigger fighters etc etc etc, its a never ending cycle.

Agreed floyd is the best on the planet right now, i was olnly refering to that dude saying floyd beat ricky and he was a good light welterweight so because khan is a light welterweight that he's getting beat aswell he was stereo typing two light welterweights that are in NO way alike in any way shape or form apart from being british.

I never missed the point khan is 5''10, mayweather is 5''8 khan is the bigger fighter so that ''ready made excuse'' can't be the case is this fight.

Khan has a reach of 71'' mayweather has a reach of 72'' Ricky hatton was 5''7 with a reach of 65'' massive difference khan cannot be tarred with the same brush as ricky hatton just because they were both light welterweights as you quoted.

If this fight is in Wembley UK then you will see me ringside, rocking an expensive suit complemented with some Ray-Ban shades. Can't wait for this, fingers crossed!
