I rate top 100, no doubt about that. Maybe even top 50.

Nunn and McCallum alone is an awesome resume to have at 160, he looked very good against Barkley, Littles and Williams at 168 (even though Barkley was atleast four or five years past his best) and then put on loads of weight before the Jones Jr fight (he couldn't of beat anybody that night against Jones Jr because of the personal problems he had at the time, it was knew a week before the fight that he couldn't win). I thought he was robbed against Griffin in the rematch, and his wins over Jirov and Ruiz just cement his status as just a great ****ing fighter.

He is a boxing master, he could avoid punches in a phone booth. A slick infighter, master counter-puncher (maybe the best at counter-punching I've seen) and a guy with the ability not to waste motion so that he has consumed little energy in time to win the championship rounds. Great fighter.

I think James definitley deserves to be in the top 50. I am not sure exactly where I would rank him.

Yeah I do rank him that high(even though I hate him), but thats mainly cause I am a young fan(I am 19) and most of the fighters that are in top 50 I have not seen fight, I mean guys like Benny Leonard or Jack Johnson who fought when there was no tv, even though are aknowldged by me, I cant judge and therefore rank.
I do rank guys like Robinson and Armstrong because enough information is presented, but guys that i see on the list of all time great fighters and can only read about in a second-hand sources are hard for me to judge. Not that I do not consider them great, just dont rank them. Otherwise would be very hypocritical of me.

I rank him as one of the best technically sound fighters that I have ever seen.

He is definitely in my top 50. We don't see too many boxers like Toney. He's not done yet, I have a feeling that he will dominate the heavyweights for the next 2 or 3 years.

showstopper, you need to get your hands on some jack johnson footage. the guy was a genius in his time. he was a master of the clinch particularly, and close range fighting. he started his fighting in a thing called battle royales. which were essentually blindfolded young black men fighting untill only one was left standing for a handfull of coins. crazy **** i'd say.

i've studied more about jack johnson than any other old school fighter. he is a hell of a character and fighter and worth checking out.
