Undefeated WBC jr welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. headlines a November 19 HBO card at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon. Mayweather, recognized as the best pound for pound fighter in boxing, will face former 2-time world champion Sharmba Mitchell. Featured on the undercard bout is 2004 U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist Andre Ward.
I'm a bit surprised Mayweather is stepping up to welterweight already, seems like there are as many big fights at 140 as there is a 147. But anyway I think it could turn out to be somewhat competitive. Sharmba's been around the block, he's a southpaw and I think it will turn out to be an interesting fight. I'm glad to see Floyd getting back into the ring before the end of the year though.
Dont be one of those clowns that predict the underdog everytime. THen disapear when thye lose. And if the underdog somehow wins ur all over the forums boasting about your pick.
