Canelo said he wants winner of Vanes/Angulo. That is not a rush for Canelo, he should be able to beat either one of them.

People want to protect and bring Canelo along slowly? Fine. The WBC should NOT have handed him a belt then. A champion of a weight class is supposed to challenge its top rated contenders. PERIOD.

Lara would UD Canelo at the moment. I dont think Canelo has fought too many southpaws that are naturally bigger than him. Not to mention Lara has good boxing fundamentals. I think in 2 years Canelo can do some real damage once he fills out and gets more experience fighting experienced opponents. I dont like the Gomez fight, but Gomez has been in with some good names so it is what it is. I hope he fights the winner of Vanes-Perro next that would be a good one to shut people up, because im pretty sure he could fck up Vanes and possibly outbox El Perro, but Angulo could also KO him with either hand so it would be a very exciting fight to watch.

Either way though Angulo would murder Vanes it would be just like Angulo-Julio except Vanes doesnt hit as hard as Joel so Angulo would pressure him til he crumbles.
