Fernando Montiel is back...now its time for payback!

I'd like to see him avenge at least one of his losses before he retires. Well, Jhonny Gonzalez is a fw now, so that rematch would be quite difficult and not very likely to get Montiel in. So it has to be Donaire...Donaire got him because Montiel made a mistake in rushing in. I think the second time around Montiel should at least last longer.

I'm not really interested in this fight, even if it lasts longer. While I believe all champions deserve rematches, I think Donaire will steamroll him: I'd rather see Donaire in a more competitive match-up where he is in serious danger.

And who'd give him that matchup? Agbeko? Mares? Moreno? I think Moreno has the best chance to beat him, Agbeko will likely do well in the first half and then fade and get a beating in the second half, maybe even get koed. Mares, even worse. I believe Agbeko will expose him as overhyped soon.

And I don't think Donaire would STEAMROLL Montiel. It was a competitive fight until that ko.

I do think Montiel could do better in a rematch. He was doing alright before Donaire caught him. Still, with a KO like that, who wants to see a rematch?

He was doing alright, but it almost reminded me of the Williams/Martinez fight in that you could see what was developing--I knew Pwill was getting knocked out that night. Yea he was doing well, but I could just tell Donaire was going to land a huge shot. I'm not saying he can't fix it, but the speed difference prevents a different outcome.

Donaire will have to move up in weight for dangerous competition. All the way to 126 and fight Gamboa or Russell after a few more fights. He needs to fight someone with the kind of speed and power he has.
