Brandon Rios Helped my Charity- BIG TIME

To whom it may concern in the world boxing community:

I just want to publicly acknowledge and thank Brandon Rios, Lightweight Champion of the World, who intervened out of nowhere and helped the charity which I have been running. The charity is called "Miracles for Ella." 100% of donations benefit a three year old girl from my hometown in Pennsylvania who is battling stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Brandon sent me an autographed glove from his last fight against Urbano Antillon and an autographed picture from the fight to raffle at our upcoming benefit. He has also been sharing links to our facebook page (Miracles for Ella) and charity PayPal account on his fanpage, personal facebook page, and his new website which is going launch later this week. His help has been transformational. Large businesses, such as Hooters, have been inspired by his championing our cause and joined him in assisting us. Brandon has been completely sincere and caring during our interactions. His concern for kids with cancer is very genuine and heartfelt. He has proven himself to be a champion both inside and outside of the ring. His help has been invaluable and "Miracles for Ella" is eternally grateful.

    Sincerely,
    Bill Marks

I don't know about that, but it wouldn't surprise me. He has empathy. I don't know Brandon personally, but he extended himself to help. There are a few high profile professional athletes I know personally who did not offer to help or respond to my requests. Brandon has time for the fans and regular people in the world, unlike a lot of those other athletes. He made himself immediately available and gave of himself.

                  bam bam means well
                  i'm convinced of it

every time he's on Leave it in the ring radio he impresses me.

he's got some problems carrying himself in public but he's certainly working on them

and the way he fights is intoxicating. he's katsidis with real physical talent and boxing skills that he ignores to implement his offense
i have to have more of it in my life and on my saturday nights

you cant overstate how much of a breath of fresh air he is compared to the average AM standout from the states who's focused on sliding around the ring and landing pittypat shots to win rounds

good work helping out with charity, bro. that's a great thing you're doing.
that stuff adds up in the end when you gotta go before the big man upstairs an plead your case to get into heaven

I live in Stroudsburg, which is real close to u, and even though I can't offer the money Rios has, I would like to contribute as well.
