ten point scoring is a MUST

    seriously

    please consider it, AM boxing.

the entirety of the sport will benefit

if you got a points system up to protect fighters you can have a referee to do the same thing when they're fighting with a scoring system based on the effectiveness of the punches

keep giving 8 counts (boxer loses a point for the round in addition to the scoring of the overall round)
keep stopping fights early if theres a mismatch or somebody is in danger of getting hurt

but score based on effective punching
    train based on effective punching

and we wont have the standard boring american amateur style that guys have to lose when the hit the pros
    and usually cannot
