Dudes on this threads are crazy as hell, calling Zab a bum and Journeyman, but as soon as he signs for a fight with Pacquiao Zab would become one of the greatest WW's of this decade or generation.

exactly, after judah made baldomir champ, the sharks were swimming, everyone was wanting a piece of that easy to hit target, not one of them would've lost to baldy either.... only judah.

anyway, floyd doesn't sit on his hands when easy payday comes along......

Zab has proven time and time again that he doesn't have the mentality to be a top fighter and the fact that he lost to Baldo yes a journeyman proves it.

WHy did baldomir pick floyd over all the other guys? It seems that should be the question. If all these other guys wanted baldomir, why did he choose floyd?

The Ring had him ranked #8 at the beginning of 2005 & ranked #10 at the beginning of 2006. Since when do Journeyman go 8 years without a loss? Since when are Journeyman ranked as top 10 contenders 2 years in a row?

Zab Judah straight up said he didn't want to fight Margarito, Don King refuse to match Mayorga against Margarito, Mosley said he wouldn't fight Marg in Nov either, Floyd chose a different path on 2 different occasions.
Can you provide a link that contains evidence that Top Rank ever initiated negotiations with Zab Judah, Cory Spinks or Mayorga who were all lineal welterweight champs during Margarito's reign as a paper titlist? I seem to recall Mosley being @ 154 for most Margarito's campaign at that weight and Floyd moved straight up to 154 to fight De La Hoya immediately after winning the title, so what you claimed would've have been an immpossibility.

Again with the plural, wins, no it was top win. And, if we just talking about single win sure. If we talking about overall resume then it's Marg by a wide comfortable margin
Who are some of the guys he beat to defend his paper crown? And list off some of their career accomplishments and compare it to Gatti & Judah's.

But i guess it's quantity over quality with you, eh?

Your assertion is baseless. Because, there's no proof that he had plaster wraps for his reign on top.
So why has Margarito ****** so much azz and looked so...powerless post plaster wrap scandal?

Whenever people mention Judah & Baldo on here i can't help but laugh, because i've been around on this forum long enough to remember all the hater claiming that Floyd was scared to face the true champion of the ww division, Baldomir.
