Over the last few weeks, the trainer for Devon Alexander (22-1, 13 KOs), and Paulie Malignaggi, have been trading words on BoxingScene.com. Alexander is moving up to the welterweight division for his next contest and he wants to face Malignaggi in his first appearance at the new weight. Golden Boy Promotions has nearly finalized a deal for Malignaggi's next fight, and the former champion says his next opponent is not going to be Alexander.
