Andre Ward - Does he get the respect he deserves?

He's not the type of fighter I support entertainment wise but I respect any fighter who gets in the ring especially one who fights and dominates at a high level . Many will still dislike him if he wins against Froch but won't be able to deny he's the best and that's all that matters.

I got a feeling Froch(win or lose)is going to make Ward more exciting...

I think Froch is coming to win not to survive like a lot of guys who fight Ward do.

So look for a shockingly exiting Ward fight.

He's right where he ought to be from what I read and hear from people. Doesn't get degraded and doesn't get wildly overhyped. He's rightfully viewed as the best fighter at his weight right now.

Im about as anti-Ward as you can get, but even I cant deny how good he is. I just cant support a guy who fights so ugly and dirty. On top of that, he has no personality. Hopkins is dirty, but he is also a real character who has some great wins to back it up. Hatton was ugly to watch later in his career, but he had a personality and knocked people out. Ward wins by grinding out ugly, negative, mauling fights. Im a big fan of Froch, but expect Ward to win a boo filled UD when they fight. Ward is going to be tough for anyone to beat as long as refs let him fight the way he has been. Im interested to see if he has a plan B when he isnt allowed to maul inside (ala Hatton vs Mayweather.)

No once asked Ward to associate himself with Victor Conte. Why associate yourself with the biggest PEDs cheat in sports, if you're clean?????

Ward ruined his own legacy. And its hilarious how Ward desperately tries to downplay his connection to Conte, at least he is smart enough to realise how su****ious it looks, yet he still continues to use Conte. I guess once PEDs give you an edge, its tough to go back.

I'm no fan of Froch, the guy looks like a soccer hooligan, and kinda acts like one too. But, at least he brings it, so I agree it should be an interesting fight.

I'd love to support Ward, but since he works with Conte, I find it very hard to.
