Junior middleweight contender Vanes Martirosyan (30-0, 19KOs) believes the WBC should strip Saul "Canelo" Alvarez of his 154-pound title for continuing to fight boxers who campaign outside of his division. The WBC recently ordered a final eliminator between Vanes and hard-punching Alfredo Angulo. Vanes would like to have the WBC take the title from Alvarez, and then sanction the fight with Angulo for the vacant belt.

Let me see he fought rhodes who was ranked in almost every ones top ten at 154. He was the mandatory for like two years for the wbc tittle until alvarez gave him the shot.
