An example of the alphabet organisations IBF

I realise this example is not very important in the grand scheme of things but take a look.

The IBF rates Librado Andrade at number 7 and Aaron Pryor Jr at 12 yet Pryor just beat Andrade.

    What's the deal?

It's absolutely absurd, but the rankings are all the product of payments, etc. If you pay the sanctioning for one of their regional belts, it gets you a better ranking.

Andrade's ranking has everything to do with his affiliation with Golden Boy.

Sergio Martinez apparently doesn't rate at all at neither 160 or 154. Scary thing is the IBF are probably the best of all the alphabet organisations. And they're still really crap.

martinez isn't a member of the IBF. what would be the point in having everyone ranked there? you have boxrec for that.
