According to promoter Leon Margules of Warriors Boxing, there are several possible fights being discussed for junior middleweight contender Carlos Molina (19-4-2, 6KOs). Based on his recent outings, Molina has had a breakout year and there are five months to go before 2012. He fought Erislandy Lara to a close ten round draw in March, and then knocked out Allen Conyers in April, and then dominated former champion Kermit Cintron to win a ten round decision on July 9th.

"I can get down to 147" is code for "I wanna fight Manny, too!" The welterweight division offers more money, but also more difficult challenges. Carlos last fought at welter about two years ago. Maybe it's not a bad idea to give it another shot.
