I Like Lamont, I don't get the negativity regarding him. He has Good technique, good heart, good sportsmanship, and he's always improoving.

This was a Margarito-Cotto style beat down.

great win for one of boxing's good guys

peterson is an HBO type fighter
              great story
              good kid

talented enough where he certainly belongs in big fights

the next step is winning them

i think his chin and willingness to punch back could give khan problems
but he's going to have trouble outboxing a guy who is faster, bigger, and punches harder

He has no power, and he isnt the best boxer. So what is he going to be?

He is going to get out punched by punchers (Maidana)
He is going to get outboxed by Boxers (Khan, Kotelnik)

Peterson would beat Kottie and I would bet on him to beat Maidana..He is more versatile then both of those fighters..Khan emm maybe on a slightly different level, but if they were to fight Khan would have to dig deep against Peterson that's for sure..But those other two fights are winnable fights for Peterson imo..
