Yes, while it has become a reflex action among some people to put down the HW division, the truth is that it has been in comeback mode in 2011, with some very good matchups being made.

Interesting few months ahead, I'm actually really excited for Tua-Barrett II. Dimitrenko-Sprott will also be pretty good.

Pretty interested to see how Johnson and Boystov look.

I'm interested in only eight of those fights, which is actually not so bad considering the lack of worthy challengers in the division to Wladimir's crown.

Thank you for the update nevertheless.

Do you know if Tua-Barrett is on a PPV here? I thought Dan Rafael said it was, but I'm not sure about it. Hopefully we can get a stream if not. Their first fight was very entertaining.

This list is good but it shows how bad the HWT division is currently.

I just learned Mike Perez has turned down Tyson Fury's offer and will instead be fighting TBA on the McCloskey-Prescott card on September 10.
I figured Perez wouldnt take the offer. Heavyweights will be thinking twice about fighting Fury after the Chisora fight.

Odlanier Solis has told the media in Miami he will NOT be fighting until 2012.

His knee has not yet fully healed and the proposed fight in October will not be happening.

The more you edit the worse this list becomes. Not your fault but the talent level here sucks.
