I think he was more there for the taking.

But as a Hatton fan I was aware that the Tszyu vs Mitchell II fight had flattered Tszyu... And that Hatton had a very very good chance of beating Kostya Tszyu because I wasn't confident that the real Tszyu had come back yet.
After beating Ben Tackie & becoming the first man to put Tackie down, Mitchell thought that he can brawl with anyone, that was biggest mistake in his last 3 or 4 fights, Tszyu proved it. I thought the Ndou fight was very close, but I still think Mitchell won it.

The reason I picked the Mitchell fight, because this was a fight many top people from the press was picking Mitchell to win.

      Mitchell 2.

Tszyu didn't really win against Judah. It was an early stoppage. Had the ref let it go on and Tszyu actually got a legitimate win over Judah, then it would've definitely been his biggest win.

Yeah I remember people picking Mitchell at the time, and I thought huh!?!

I think the problem and reason people were picking Mitchell to win that fight was because no one knew what kind of a Kostya Tszyu was going to turn up.

He hadn't fought in 2yrs and he was 34yrs old... No one was confident that the Tszyu of 3-4yrs ago would turn up.

        He certainly did though!

Everyone was picking Mitchell because Mitchell was beating Tszyu on one good leg in 2001. All Tszyu could do was throw Mitchell around. And Mitchell was almost as determined for a rematch with Tszyu as Judah was. He stayed very active and won most of his matches impressively, minus the N'Dou fight I guess.

Then, it was like Mitchell froze up or some **** in the Tszyu match. Tszyu definitely fairly knocked him out, as much as I hate it. Mitchell has no excuse, he simply got knocked out.
