I love Cotto but after the brick laying he hasn’t been the same, so it’s anyone’s guess!

I think Cotto would win based on his experience but I wouldn't count victor out either. It would be an awsome fight imo- 2 fighters who like to ****.

Great Fight! But Cotto takes it. Won't count Ortiz out though ...

I think Cotto wins a UD. He might even stop Ortiz. Cotto from 05-08 definitly stops Ortiz.

it's the internet, so a bunch of ******s are going to say ORTIZ destroys Cotto.

however, Cotto is a HOF fighter w/ a terrific resume and I would not count him out in that fight.

see Morales vs. Maidana as an example, ******s.

Ortiz by brutal KO, I don't see why people still think cotto has anything. Foreman, and Mayorga fight demonstrated in my eyes cotto is a shell of his former self.

I don't see why everyone picks Cotto at this weight to be honest. The last time he fought at welterweight was back against Manny Pacquiao in November 2009.

I don't think there's a source anywhere stating it, but I doubt he can make 147 anymore.

To be honest, his body frame has looked different ever since he left his uncle.

That thick body frame he carried in his fights with Judah, Mosley, Gómez, Margarito, and Jennings looks a whole lot different than when he fought Clottey and Pacquiao.

He looks toned, but his performances say something different.

Granted, Cotto's skill is above Ortiz, but if Cotto were to move down to 147 TODAY...naaah.

                    It wouldn't be himself.
