Some fight judges have stayed too long at ringside. With their minds sketchy and maybe all their motor skills fading, some pencil pushers who decided important boxing matches can be compared to older drivers who can't concentrate on traffic conditions.

Judges need a central authority and STRICT punishment (fines or jail time for bribery). If you screw up a fight you need to be blacklisted from ever working again.

We also need a strict age limit, 90% of Judges are over 60 years old, their reflexes are slow, reaction time is slow, if you cant drive a car then you shouldnt be able to judge.

Make it so anyone above 65 cant Ref or Judge a fight.

Have a system where every round is double checked and reviewed by a panel of experts.

Have a system where Ref's/Judges are tested every year and have performance reviews, if their scorecards are wacky then fire and blackball them.

The system is a complete joke now, you have 70 year old men who have no idea how to score a fight but yet they are deciding Boxers careers. I doubt even 70% of the Current Judges even know how to properly score a fight.

there needs to be more rigorous training, licensing and oversight for refs, period -- we can't have situations where everyone in an arena and watching on TV sees a fight one way and the refs have it completely the other way -- gives boxing a black eye

Giampa some how saw Lara throw more punches when Williams threw double his punches. Lara landed more while throwing half the punches.
