Bute is clearly a genius. Why should he have to toil in the shadows like Froch and get his hands dirty for chump change when he could sit pretty in Canada and take stay busy fights for big money and know he'll get to fight whoever comes out of the super 6 anyway?

Boxing is a business, the best don't have to fight the best in order to be make money. This ain't the nba.

I acknowledge that. I respect his business savvy and how he manipulates his fanbase AND the media. Bute shows up at SuperSix fights and pretends that he will take on the winner.

But at least fight ONE guy in the top 5. At least OCCASIONALLY take real opposition.

You say Bute has fought no one, but why don't you tell us who he should've fought since the S6 started? Who was available for him to fight.

And BTW, you talk about Froch's opposition. I agree he has fought top guys. But did you know that when Bute fought Bika for the IBF eliminator, it was supposed to be a Bute-Froch fight, but Froch refused. Bute agreed...

1. Bute doesn't deserve to fight the SS winner. He needs a Froch/Ward like schedule over the next 5 fights, then he can fight the SS winner.

2. Not sure if this has already been posted or not, but why is that ref always involved in Bute fights?

Bute is making millions and getting pro experience while the SS guys get paid pennies to put their career on the line.

Besides, I'd give bute a good chance over andre ward or carl froch. Bute has more power than ANYONE in that SS tournament.
