Let's clear the air on this right now. We all know that Pac and Floyd have only ever been paper champions at junior middleweight. That doesn't mean they should go on and fight Sergio Martinez, who is much larger than either of them. I think it's an unfair expectation. But yes, they should never have been considered jr middleweight champs in the first place. What do you guys think? I say the Martinez hatchet needs to get buried now.
Mayweather/Pacquiao vs Martinez should never happen.

I don't think anyone of these guys should be forced or feel the need to fight Martinez, I think the only reason this us such a big deal is because of the hype of Mayweather or Pacquiao.
It does sound silly, it would be like asking Mayweather or Pacquiao to fight the Roy Jones of 2005, or asking Pernell in the day to fight Hopkins.Comment

However they both do need to drop there Mw champion belt claims, simply because you shouldn't win a belt in a division where your but willing to fight in.Comment

I completely agree with everything TS says here BUT I'm not sure what was not legit about Floyd's JMW belt? Please elaborate, obviously it wasn't a lineal title or anything but still.
I agree with you and don't think there should be any talk of Mayweather or Pac ducking Martinez. He is a MUCH bigger man than either of them. However i would say that Oscar probably weighed about as much on fight night when he fought Floyd as Sergio typically does in the ring.Comment
