Why do so many Mexicans hate Manny Pacquiao?

This is true. I myself am Filipino and I never boo the opposing boxer. I only cheer for the one I like. I feel that if fans are booing the opposing fighter it is just revealing how big a threat he is to his opponent.

This is what I've been saying over and over again and these cats just don't get it. Majority of Pinoys don't boo or say derogatory words to their fighters opponent no matter what the nationality is. They're all basing they're assumptions on some rabid Pac fans in this forum.

There's a big difference between acting in an internet forum and conducting yourself in public.

Not just them, a few guys I used to work with, they were asian, and they acted like Manny was God after the Barrera massacre. So, honestly, if I'm coming across that many fanatic fans, it would give one reason to assume that many more of his fans act the same way. That's why a lot of "mexicans hate Manny", he beats Barrera, and all of a sudden he's a "mexican assassin". What about that label? "Mexican assassin"? I like Pac, and I was cheering for him against Marquez, for the record.
