when manny went to mexico to promote the pac-em fight, he was still received warmly by the people there. so i guess not all mexicans really hate pac.

and you cheer for Pacman. Well and good if you respect him, but I don't expect you to cheer for him. Just like when we boo Mexican opponents of Pacman when we see 'em. Filipinos would never boo Morales,Marquez or Barrera or any Mexican fighters out there. I watched the fight with Boom Boom when he fought a mexican in P.I., and the Pinoy crowd clapped for him. They never booed him.
I was at the Staples Center, lots of mexicans were saying "**** PACQUIAO, **** THE PHILIPPINES","CHINO", "VELAZQUEZ IS GONNA KNOCK HIM OUT COZ HE"S FROM TIJUANA" and **** like that..Mothu****az went quiet though when Manny knocked him the **** out.They also booed our national anthem, very classy they are.They were calling Raheem a ******.I saw two bald-headed cholos jumped on a black-guy, a Raheem fan, during rnd. 6.I guess they were pissed that their so called Aztec Warrior from Tijuana "El Terrible" was getting bitchslapped by a ******.

Anyways, not all Mexicans are like that.

I dont hate Manny, I hated the fact people started to call Manny the Mexican Assassin after 1 win vs Barrera. I actually respect Manny, hes gonna be a hall of famer and hes very exciting gutty individual with plenty of heart. Manny has more heart than all the heavyweight fighters.

Manny P is the man, Im Mexican yet I love that basterd, hes a gut it out warrior and that is what i love about Manny. He will put himself on the line to make any fight a war(like Chico)

Your post above talks about the mexican fans talking **** to Pac at the Velasquez fight, do you think Velasquez would have been treated differently, if the majority of the fans were of Pac's descent?
