Latest Episode Of Where Are They Now: Joan Guzman

That guy is a beast. I know he had problems making weight a few years ago, but I haven't heard to much from him lately.

Anyway, put Guzman in the ring with Bam Bam Rios and he takes him to school.

I also wouldn't mind seeing Guzman take on someone like Marquez or anyone else at 135/140 for that matter.

Last time I saw Guzman was earlier this year, and he looked rather fleshy. It was prior to the Pacquiao-Mosley fight. Didn't seem to be really in shape.

Guzman has shown that he can't make 135, and I think he gets beaten by everyone at the top of 140.

I don't know about that. P4P, that guy has one of the slickest styles out. Granite, I haven't seen him in a year or so, but I'm confident in his potential...

Idk, it will be interesting though..

Meaning I'm confident in his potential at 140.

            He's 35 and undefeated.

i thought this dude could have troubled mayweather earlier in his career , has a good chin and underatted power especially at 130 ,He was ripped to the bone at this weight . it shows how good he could have been , that people say he didnt come close to his potential , yet was still a 2 weight world champion , 3 weights if you count the win over funeka for the vacant ibf 135 (guzman was closer to 145 lol) this guy could have been a star !

In the biggest fights of his career which would have made or break him as a legit player in his weight divisions he has been overweight... I don't care to see his joker... and he has burned both bridges with HBO and Showtime... so he has only himself to blame because he is too much of an idiot to stay in shape like hundreds if not thousands of fighters before him.

They say he had a thyroid problem... That's what was causing the weight issues though...

He never had a KO much less a knockdown of someone at 130... underrated? Um... no.

Also bragging out 2 belts in this day in age where they are given like candy by the 4 stationing bodies isn't something really impressive in the big picture.
