Floyd wants you to jab so he can pull counter it; which usually stops people from jabbing at him.

right. that's why none have been able to establish and utilize the jab effectively. but fear of being countered is not a reason to abandon the jab altogether entirely. or you'll just end up like the other 41 victims.

bhop once said, when asked how to beat floyd, "you have to use speed, jab and keep yourself out of position to get countered."

but ultimately, floyd does not want you to use the jab or any punch for that matter, countering everything. he wants you to "put it back in the bag" and not use it at all. then he's got you right where he wants you. just like the other 41.
