Bigger ego boost?: Cotto after Mosley or Ortiz after Berto.

After Cotto beat Mosely I remember him saying that he was capable of beating anyone.

He may have started referring to himself in the 3rd person. Not sure about that.

    No need to reference Ortiz.

    Reign for 15 years etc..

    Poll coming.

Its different. Ortiz is more confident in terms of talking but I think he'll be the same fighter. Cotto started to get ****y even inside the ring. I remember him fighting Gomez right after Mosley and you could tell it was a totally different Cotto. He thought he was like SRR or something. Just messing around in the ring and admiring all his work. Ortiz head is big but I dont think it will transfer to the ring like Cotto's did

      It better not.

But all this attention could get to his head.

He's doing Music videos and meeting celebrities.

      We shall see.

Ortiz because he won a belt in a new weight class.

Victor is going to fight like a champ against Mayweather.

well in some ways this fight may be the best thing for him. Get outclassed and then get his head back on straight to reach his potential the rest of his career. There's nothing wrong in losing to Floyd as long as he gets his mind right after it and beat nearly everyone else like he should

              What?! Are you serious?

On topic, Cotto might've gotten a little ****y.

Shane only had four losses at that time, but they were to two men: Forrest and Winky.

He had knocked out Fernando Vargas and beaten Collazo with little difficulty.

It was, and still is, Cotto's greatest win. That was when Cotto peaked in terms of popularity and pound for pound status.
