Kevin Mitchell thinks he is superman. He better not take the fight if he still treasure his career. Rematching Katsidis is the only way if he wants to redeem himself. Beat Katsidis then he can think about Rios.

Mitchell has got a lot of guts but in Rios just as in Katsidis he is biting more off than he can chew.

Mitchell is a small lightweight.... Rios is a huge lightweight. It wont be close.

If size only mattered Prescott would be undefeated right now.

But I do favor Rios. Size is only a small reason why. His style and workrate is more of a reason.

135 is better than 140. Hopefully he fights Vazquez at 135 or 140 I don't care.

Mitchell got no chance he would be better off targeting the winner of Linares Demarco and hoping Demarco wins.

                    true true

But i feel that Rios is just to powerful and physically strong for Mitchell, he will run him over.

Am I the only one who likes this fight?

I think for the first four or five rounds we'll get something a bit special. It'll be an action fight with difficult rounds to score. After that point you'd have to expect Rios to take over and stop Mitchell, but I think it'll be a fun fight until that point. Despite the Katsidis fight, I don't expect Mitchell to get blown away as it's clear he wasn't anywhere close to his best.

It's not clever match-making on Warren's part, but it should be a fan friendly fight. It's not like Rios has that many better options either - Marquez is tied up with Pacquiao, Guerrero has jumped to 140 for Maidana and Soto wants nothing to do with Rios. Aside from stepping up to 140, Rios doesn't have many options besides maybe Katsidis.
