ortiz beating a protected berto doesnt make him a legit opponent for floyd.

floyd knows this,he knows ortiz and his style is of little threat to him,so that why hes picked him,and cuz of the big berto win he gets good hype going for it aswell.

he might be southpaw,quite fast and have power,but he has questionable chin and heart,has no defense,and isnt a good techinical boxer who can set up attacks and stick to a strict gameplan to defeat floyd.

his work rate and stamina probably isnt good enough either.

To be honest, it seemed like Ortiz wanted to "get at" Max more then he did Mayweather. He got a serious grudge against Max right now and made his interview more about his anger towards Max then a fight with Floyd, but whatever. Funny the way Mayweather looked at Ortiz when he was calling out Max. Kindof like, "Oh ****, for real?". He's used to his opponents coming at him, not at Max. Max handled it well though IMO.

At any rate, I just hope Ortiz keeps his "fire" or rage or whatever it is he's puttin out there. I'm willing to bet he would do a Margarito (against Pac) before he would ever quit again. Gonna be a good scrap. Don't really care who wins as long as Ortiz really brings it. But like Floyd said, they all think it can be done (beating him) until they get in the ring with him, it ends up being much different then they imagined it would be. I don't think Victor has ever fought someone as defensively superior as Floyd is before, and I'm not sure when the last time Floyd fought someone as determined, come forward and tough as Victor. I don't really know how anyone could truly criticize this fight. As long as Floyd is true to his word about not moving around a lot in this fight, it should be explosive. I can't wait.
