that's a bit of an overstatement. Victor is a live dog but quitting against maidana and drawing against peterson doesnt make you a terrific fighter. He's a C+ at best. Beating Berto who we all know is a paper champion doesnt make you terrific all of the sudden

He quit against Maidana, but he gave him hell while it lasted and against Peterson, you can look at it two ways. Either Peterson is a bum that that outboxed Ortiz (as you're implying), or they're both good fighters that were evenly matched down the stretch.

I'd say Ortiz is a B+ fighter, to be honest.

B+ we must have different definition of B+.. when i think of B+ fighter i look at fighters like segura, chris john, guerrero, Dawson, steve cunningham, Adamek etc. people who i would consider outside of the p4p ranking from 11-20
