i don't think khan wants a pacquiao fight.

he'll do it if it's offered but he's not really pushing for it.
A year and a half ago, Khan was talking to the media about sparring with Pac just like he's talking about fighting Mayweather now... Trust me, I can tell when someone wants a fight and they're sizing up their opponent.

What's that old saying, "New friends are nothing more than future enemies".

This applies to Khan and Pac. They're not even that cool FCOL. They will end up like Jon Jones and Rashad Evans. Jones = Khan & Evans = Pac.

Trust me, I've seen this unfold to many times.

      don't try to convince me.

i already said i think they will fight in a couple of years.

what i'm telling you is khan doesn't really want the fight right now.

floyd he wants 1st because the matchups favor him.

It was almost similar to how he's been calling Mayweather out in the media, he was telling the media he couldn't wait to spar Pac... I have to give it to Khan. He's the type of guy that would fight his best friend just to be the best. I don't think it's anything personal with Khan, I just think he wants to be the best.

Honestly, I think the only thing stopping that fight is Freddie Roach. As soon as Roach retires or steps down (given Pac sticks around), I can see Khan calling Pac out the same way Holmes did Ali.... Keep in mind, Holmes and Ali were sparring partners also.....

Pacquiao and Khan have both said that they will never fight each other.

khan will retire the aging pacquiao
I'd be really surprised if roach were to just leave pacquiao before pacquiao retires. roach considers pac to be like a son to him. so i doubt that roach would just suddenly leave pac to train amir to beat him.

khan is not ready for pac and he knows it.. khan is the type that will shake your hand and then turn around and call u out if he feels he can beat u and the money is right. (example: look at what he did to ariza). khan dont gives a phuck if thats his sparring partner or not. but in this case khan knows he aint ready thats why he havent said anything about wanting a fight with manny yet. but mark my word if khan wins 1-2 more fights impressively while manny loses or struggle i bet in a year later khan will start calling manny out. TRUST!

They did say that yes. But see this interview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8UOWkQDJk4 . I can't embed so feel free...

Basically Amir says he wouldn't fight Pac because of Roach and Ariza. He doesn't know who they would want to train so it would make the situation awkward.

He also says they're friends, but here's the thing. Unless you grew up together, you know as well as I do that's a crock of ****. $30,000,000 will make you throw friendship out the way.

Basically, IMO, Roach/Ariza are holding it up. If for some reason, Khan has a fallout with Roach/Ariza, I see it going down.
