yeah, of course. i subscribed to this thread, so whenever i log on, i'll be notified of any new posts. anyways, about that bet, what about if he loses say a 4 rounder decision? you said he gets ktfo before 10 fights or 10-0? i'll do 5 mill he makes it to his 10th pro fight without getting ktfo, deal?
Lets play a game Using Boxrec and see if you have an eye for talent.

that doesnt make sense that will take for ever. You should make it find unknown prospect with at least 10 or more fights that you think will win tittles.Comment

I'd like to note that I totally did this with Saul Alvarez. I had done a search for 'Mexican Welterweights' and saw a 30something-0 fighter. Miguel Vasquez and a couple other guys looked like good wins and then my eyes popped out when I saw he was 19 and went pro at 15. Told my 'sorta boxing fan' friends about this Saul Alvarez kid and how impressive it was to be undefeated as usually guys that go pro so young and fight some good fighters will have early losses.
I also kept tabs on Marcos Maidana based on KO ratio for like a year before he fought Andreas Kotelnik. It's fun to go boxrec scouting. Going to go check everything out right now.
Edit: re-read the rules. Under 5 fights? Er... You can't really know anything about anybody you're describing. You can totally have 20+ fights and be just as much of a '?' as a guy with five fights but at least you can research them a bit. For instance, I found a pair of interesting Mexican MWs that have mostly fought nobody in 40+ combined bouts but I was able to research their KO power a bit.Last edited by Chadmazing; 07-28-2011, 02:33 AM.Comment

respect me bro...OK, choose a couple of guys (5 max) who have just made there debut or have less then 5 fights off boxrec (pretty simple, just look for journeymen and you will find they have fought some guys dubuting) Now make a list of the guys who you have a feeling about, try not to pick some highly touted prospect who just missed out on the olympics and is turning pro kinda thing, as that is considered cheating as you know they will do well.
List your guys here and follow there progress, you can make it interesting by betting with each other on there prospects, keeping us updated on there progress, etc. No doubt some of these guys are gonna turn out to be glass jawed bums, but others might turn out to be future world champs, top contenders, etc...
Give it a try, this literally took me 5 minutes to get my list together.
Remember NO highly touted prospects......
My list
*Suguru Suganuma 4-0 (Light-welterweight)
