Rios-Peterson for the IBF makes sense

If Khan goes for Morales and vacates the IBF belt, Rios should challenge Lamont Peterson for the vacant title, assuming he gets by Cayo this weekend. It's not only a great fight, but these two have unfinished business because Rios beat Lamont's brother up last year. Lamont would have a chance to avenge Anthony's defeat, and also become a world champ. Rios would probably get a shot at unifying with Bradley next, and would be one step closer to Manny Pacquiao. He could also 1up his rival Victor Ortiz, who drew with Peterson last year. I say make it happen!

Depends on how he looks vs Cayo.

And how Rios looks at 140.

    I might favor Lamont.

    Close fight IMO

Same here. Peterson could box his shoes off, but at the same time Rios will be on his ass all night, unlike Ortiz who was scared to get countered. One thing I can say is that Peterson has never faced a fighter like Rios, surprisingly. Rios on the other hand has faced a few good boxers.

Peterson is a very good counter puncher, as he showed against Ortiz, and I could see him posing some problems for Rios

        Close fight

Hmmm, Id rather lamont wont his fight if it was made, hes had a few setbacks (Ortiz draw), because I thought he'd have been a title holder now, I Rate him higher than Devon Alexander so this may end up being somewhat of a crossroads fight for Lamont.

Good fight, Rios is game for the 140 division, which is always great to see

Personally, I like to see Rios-Maidana (or even Rios v Kats at 135!) but whatever is best for Bam Bam, aslong as hes winning

damn, this would be a good matchup. didn't soto move up to 140 also? he could deff pressure him into a fight that should've happened at 135 already.

Lamont Peterson gonna get him back for beating up his brother, Rios don't want none. **** reminds me of The Klitschkos in the sense that if you beat one brother the other brother is gonna pay you back for it. HAHAHA, Lamont should call Rios out if he gets passed Cayo.
