Comments Thread For: Brian Viloria Discusses His Career, and His Future

In many ways it seems like just yesterday that Brian Viloria embarked on his professional career. At the time the Hawaiian native had some serious buzz behind him after compiling an amateur record of 230 wins against eight losses while also winning Gold multiple times at the National Junior Olympics and claiming the 1999 USA Fighter of the Year.

Hopefully, he wins another title in a different weight class before he hangs them gloves up. Also, a fight between him and Segura would be an exciting match to watch. Is he going to be like Calderon and be bullied by Segura towards a technical knockout or definite knockout win? Calderon said the same thing that he was more technical, faster, and better than Segura when it comes to boxing. But Segura's power and strength destroyed Calderon twice. Not an easy match for Viloria.

A win over Segura will put him on top of the echelon in that division and maybe break into the p4p ranking. I really believed he can do it, you're a champ.

        fight Segura
the sooner the better, Viloria can't let his momentum fade
he's tougher than Ivan and obviously hits harder
Viloria won't get overpowered by Segura
this is a good fight, hope he goes for it
