Why the hell did they throw the towel in? The man clearly could have continued in this fight with Arce but his cornermen threw in the towel. Hussy looked like he was about to punch one of them when they came to give him a supporting hug.

****, there's gonna be a long quiet flight home back to Australia. He came all the way to Las Vegas only for his corner men to determine the outcome of the fight. Anyone from down under got the inside scoop on this? Why'd they do this again, for the second time?

I agree, Hussein could've continued and finished that 2nd round but he would've been MURDERED by the 4th.

As a warrior should. He stood up for more fighting but his crew seems to have no faith in him. He needs to move to the US and get a new team and better sparring mates.

threw the towel in to early .but i dont agree with having to get new sparring partners as his main sparring partner is
the ibf flyweight champ vic darchiniyon.who i belive would
murder arce if they fought.

I finally got a chance to see this fight and yes that call was ****ing bull****. He was fine after that knock down got up in 1 sec and they throw in the towel after the count what is that. He deff needs a new team. If they through the towel while he was on the canvice I probably wouldn't have argued but that's just a bad call from his corner. The ref was surprised too when they through in the towel, he was like wtf are you doing.

I was on another forum and someone who was friends with the Hussien brothers made the comment about the lack of good sparring mates. Darchiniyon is just one guy. We don't get much news about Aussie fighters until they fight here.

execpt if you live in asia , finding good sparrings aaround 115 pounds is close to impossible .

as for the towel throwing , it wanst premature because hussein was not in the fight since the first second , he wasnt tryin to win , that s whu=y fenech did it IMO .

well , fenech has the IQ of a koala , so who knows ?
