either way... if tim plans to jump to 147 to pursue floyd & pac, he NEEDS to vacate his titles. PERIOD. tim said it himself, khan is NOT an option for him... he didnt mention maidana, mathysse, guererro, or anyone else at 140... so he needs to establish himself at 147 before he gets a shot at floyd/pac... tim doesnt have the drawing power to allow himself to skip other ranked 147 fighters to get to floyd/pac..... even berto has done more @ 147 than tim. at least berto fought quintana & collazo. tim only had abregu....

tim's best chance is to hug up on arum, try to get a payday... even if tim doesnt get a pac fight, theres always other top rank WW for him to mix it up with.

As A Bradley fan, I must say at this point Timmy needs to be stripped.. his excuses for not fighting Khan is just as poor as Manny's excuses for not taking random osts to fight Floyd..

Bradley stayed and fought Alexander and now Shaw wants him to stay and fight Khan. Bradleys contract should have been up long ago but he agreed to fight Alexander, and since Bradley isn't willing to extend his contract again, Shaw turned dirty and started bashing his own fighter in the media.
I believe had Bradley already been with Top Rank, the fight between Bradley and Khan would already be signed. Now Shaeffer has no interest in the fight (or so he says) when Bradley said he could be available in January (depending on his contract and lawsuit). Schaeffer won't make that fight now for less then peanuts, and no way Bob Arum will go for that. So now, even when Bradley comes and says he's free and able to fight, negotiations are gonna be ridiculous and ugly and probably keep the fight from ever materializing.
I agree Lorily, but I dont know if I believe the story about the January date.

Unless Bradley knows that his promotional issues will somehow be resolved by then, it seems like it would have been easier to make that fight now.

I think that Bradley firmly believes that he has a great shot at landing a fight with Pac (and with Floyd as well), most likely because Arum has dangled the pac-carrot, and Tim is not prepared to risk that huge payday by fighting Khan.

If he loses, he will immediately challenge Amir, most likely at 147, and Amir will duck the fight because he will not want to risk the Mayweather payday.

I have seen all of this before, nothing new here, including the coward-callers

" the norm " gets thrown out the window when it comes to the kind of payday that you get by landing a mega-fight like Pac/May. Fighters act like giggly schoolkids.

I think thats the whole point.

I am absolutely positive that Arum has used Pac to entice Bradley.

Which is why Bradley wants his promotional issues resolved before he will sign his next opponent.

The kids who are pulling out the coward cards, have done it before, and will do it again, even if Bradley lands a Pac-fight next

Bradley wants his payday, which he doesn't view Khan as.

He must think he has more chance against Khan than Pac or May, just stinks of money grabbing.
