Ummm how long have some of you guys been watching boxing? So a fighter is exposed if he loses once? He lost to another great young fighter, for that fight I don't know.any all time greats that retired undefeated with the exception of Marciano and maybe a few more, so does this mean that Pacquiao, Martinez and even Khan had all been exposed???Comment

They all got exposed and what happened they came back 10 times harder and been whooping ass since. Lets see if Berto was all hype or has the real skills to hang with the best at 147.Ummm how long have some of you guys been watching boxing? So a fighter is exposed if he loses once? the fight was not really close.Everyone knows how Judah performs in "big" fights. I made a thread about it before the fight even happened saying how it wouldn't be close.
I also said that Maidana did fight Morales. I never agreed with that fight either. Maybe Maidana underestimated Morales and didn't take his training seriously.
I don't care about Maidana or Khan to be quite honest. So I won't debate this topic any further since I could care less about either fighter. But since I'm not biased, I will say that I watched the fight with Maidana and Khan. Khan almost stopped Maidana in the 1st and Maidana almost stopped Khan in the 10th.
That said, the fight was really close and the decision could've went either way. That is noteworthy of a rematch, IMO.
nor could the decision have gone either way.
wtf are you smoking?Comment

i don't really give a **** if he fights morales again.Ohh but wait a second...when maidana orginially accepted the fight with morales he got trashed for it and now if he doesnt give morales a rematch you guys trash him for it lol. So which is it?? do you want him to fight a "shot to sh.it morales" or not??? make up your minds.
it was one of the best most exciting fights of 2010 thats why people want a rematch. no we arent simple...we're boxing fans.
LOL at people really complaining about seeing a rematch to a FOTY...unbelievable.
he already got embarassed just by having a close fight with a washed up junior featherweight.
but my point was morales-maidana was closer than maidana-khan. so if he wants to rematch someone it should be morales.
there's a difference between wanting to see it again and having it a must.
khan , unlike maidana , is trying to get things done.
maidana lost. he needs to wait for his rematch.Comment

Firstly Berto has not got a style to beat Khan. The guy Couldn't handle and refused a rematch with Colazzo who Hatton also struggled with.
Berto has poor footwork, he may aswell be one legged. He has some speed, but honestly he doesn't have raw power. He has strength though.
Power is generated a lot by technique aswell as your genes. Some guys may not lift weights well but I can say they hurt more than some bigger guys.
Berto by looks is a KO kinda guy, but he isn't a Tyson that is for sure.
Berto is very flawed, and that is why quite a few said they wouldn't be surprised if Ortiz beat him.
As for Alexander, he was exposed by Kotelnik very badly. khan and Maidana did much better, or Khan won by 12 rounds completely. That right there was when Bradley jumped on Alexander after how long of saying let's weight and make it big.
Alexander simply needs to hurt and Ko a guy or he doesn't have the mind frame. He is a Zab Judah IMO.
Although Zab did better VS Matthyse lol.
Alexander would fold.
As for Maidana, how the hell did he become mandatory after 7 months. Morales wanted a rematch but Maidana wanted too much money.
If Khan does rematch Maidana, then he will 'win' easily. Let's say 10 rounds to 2.
Boxers 80% of the time in rematches 'win'.
Simply put, if Khan can learn to keep his hands up and walk to the right everytime, that right would not land by Maidana, which is actually fairly fast and accurate after looking at other fights of his. Khan has improved by having more shots in him such as a right lead and more head and body movement.Comment

Khan clearly was up by a minimum of 8 rounds to 2 by the 10th.
Khan won 7 rounds and a KD.
Maidana had two.
Then maidana had a 10-8, so a lead of 4 rounds by the 11th.
The 11th was close, that was either way, I gave it a draw because Khan landed some nice combo's and also a lovely uppercut.
The 12th was Maidana's, just, even though Khan finished strong.
Even if the last two were given to Maidana, Khan would have won a close rounded fight, but a clear 'win' still of 2 rounds.Comment
