There's so many factors that would nullify this little technique, it's not even funny. The most important thing is we don't throw one punch at a time, and when we do, it's obviously the jab making you look for an opening. Sure this works through demonstration, but it can never be applied to a world class level.

If I'm correct, there was a pretty hot thread about this a couple months ago. I'm sure there are some arguments in it that will explain even further.
