Anyone else think that Ortiz gives FMJ problems?

Ortiz is an aggressiive ifighter and if he mauls and brawls and puts FMJ on the ropes he could have success.....

    But...

He squares up to throws that lead right hook and i think FMJ's straight counter could get there first....

Also Fmj's Defense might prevent him from taking to much damage on the ropes.

Not really, Mayweather is at least one or two classes better than Ortiz. There may be a spot or two where Floyd shows some rust, but not enough to win a round, let alone the fight.

only on the ropes but i think floyds going to push ortiz back in this fight .he's rarely been on the rope's against marquez and mosley.or he will box ortiz in the center of the ring.

His only shot to win will be to hurt Floyd early.

Ortiz is a bit of a front runner.

        Not as bad as Judah.

But he's far more dangerous early on.

Berto allowed him to outwork him late but Ortiz couldn't finish him.

He slowed down late vs Peterson, Maidana

yea i would put my money on "money"....

I think he is gonna catch ortiz with the traight right...

but i think ortiz could win rounds if he fights the right fight....

It could be a really good boxing lesson for him too.

Mayweather is not going to back up, he will stand and fight, but he will CIRCLE ORTIZ and he will DUCK UNDERNEATH HIS SHOTS AND COUNTER

Lamont Peterson had great success when he didn't back up and he stood his ground and DUCKED UNDERNEATH Ortiz punches then countered

Ortiz will just have to try and catch him early and if he catches him he better try to finish!

Floyd will have no trouble and win an easy UD.

Ortiz isn't an aggressive fighter though. He had very bad aggression that worked against Berto, but other than that he likes to box.

I can't see Ortiz winning unless Mayweather is old and this layoff messed him up.

His punches also lost alot of steam against Berto, this after the 8th round I'd say. What Floyd has to do is keep this in the middle of the ring, Ortiz is much more dangerous when his opponent is against the ropes.

Will Ortiz come out like a psychopath ala Peterson, Berto, Maidana?

Or will he Box ala Campbell, Harris, Arnaoutis?
