ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, Here's what boxing fans want team Alexander, for Devon to win a fight and then you can start dictating terms. By my count he is 0-3 in his last three. Paulie Malignaggi, chri$t to we have to be subjected to him again???

what is kinda funny though is that Alexander would probably beat both of them despite looking bad in his last 3 Fights
What he should really want is a NEW TRAINER! No disrespect to Cunningham, but Alexander is not improving at all under him, he needs to add Pernell Whitaker to his corner, because he is still YOUNG and can actually still learn a lot unlike Zab Judah
In Fact I will go as far to say that Alexander will become champion at 147 even though I am not all that impress with him, I just think it is so many overrated fighters in boxing and he is one of them, but he is young and he does have some talent and he has a damn good chin, I would not be shocked if Alexander turns his career around at 147Last edited by KnockUTheFukOut; 07-26-2011, 03:26 PM.Comment

You clearly know nothing about boxing because If you did then you would know that the amateurs, while not as brutal as the pros, it gives one indication on the skill level of a fighter, Bradley was beat not once, but twice.. and it was because Berto is a better skilled fighter than Bradley, who punished Devon into submission.. So Bradley is more skilled then Devon and Berto's more skilled than Bradley, nuff said.. and If my memory serves me correct, Devon hasn't beat anyone significant in the pros either, and certainly not at Welter..Comment

"After Paulie, a showdown with Berto would be big in St. Louis or in Atlanta," said Cunningham.
Not sure anyone sane would wanna fight Alexander in St. Louis now.........Comment

Alexander IS a decent fighter, just not the P4P king in waiting that HBO and more specifically Dan Rafael and Max Kellerman wanted you to believeI feel like such a mug. Only 18 months ago I thought Alexander looked like a decent little boxer, but since then he has done everything possible to make me want to see him get his lights turned out that I'm even going to support Berto if the fight happens.
I hope Berto knocks him out cold and shuts his trainer up who always speaks for Devon because we all know Paulie is about as much threat to Devon as my grandmother (and she is dead!)
I haven't really got a problem with Devon, but Cunningham irks the **** out of meLast edited by Trigg; 07-26-2011, 03:48 PM.Comment

Maybe the fight will be on Comcast. That way I won't have to watch it until two or three years from now at about 1am in the morning.Comment
