And if so anyone out there even close to doing it?
Will Mike Tysons record of being youngest heavyweight champ ever be broken?

Eventually it will... Records are there to be broken but there is no one around at the moment who could. Tyson was so complete by such a young age it was remarkable. The speed, power, defence and sheer intimidation factor were incredible to behold.Comment

Not in the very near future.
However, when the Klitschko's retire you're going to see a poor division get even poorer and a half decent fighter could easily win a world title. If a young guy is going to do it, 5 or so years from now will be the best time to strike as the division will probably be dreadful.Comment

well tyson did fight in a tin can division where a cruiser weight dominated
so maybe- but not uuntil the k2 bros retireComment

spinks didnt fight anyone over 178 (except one time at 185) untill he fought holmes
thats tysons biggest win
LMFAO
thats worse than mayweather JMMComment

spinks was a fighter who could easily make 168 (he fought at 172 3 months before the holmes fights)
which means he coulda fought sergio martinez
he had no business in the HW division and dominating it just proves how weak it was when tyson came inComment

Doubtful........yes records are made to be broken...so you never say never.....but it's highly unlikely.....and if it does happen it won't happen any time soon.....so I wouldn't hold my breath on that.......true story!Comment

As said above...
-Records are meant to be broken
-At anytime when the division is poor and leaderless, a young prospect could have the opportunity to pick up, eeek out a vacant title
However, it's who he is, how he does it and who he beats to achieve that. Tyson at least did it with devastating style and dominated what he had. If some out of shape 19 year old with a 16-0-2 (4KOs) record gets a title shot at the recently vacated WBA title against a "returning" McCline who happened to rack up a win or three vs losing records, and manages to eeek out a close SD...
then there would be some pissed boxing fans who would have a hard time accepting his "feat"Comment
