Completely immature new nickname for Hussein Hussein

I hate all the lame name-calling of fighters on here ("Bitchkins"... "Gaytali Bitchko" and so on)... it's pretty dumb.

But, after last night, I proudly present.... Pussein Pussein. Cos he was acting the puss-puss.

Bastard cost me £50, I had him in a treble-up as well...

was he really hurt when jeff threw in the towel? do you think he stopped the fight prematurely? levander must be on his mind when he did that.

I think Jeff Fennech was a bit out of order throwing the towel in when he did.

Sure Hussien Hussein had been knocked down, but he got up with plenty of time and didn't look that shaken up.

I don't know why Jeff Fennech decided to throw that towel in at that stage. Perhaps Levander was on his mind?... Also Hussien Hussien did take a lot of punishment in their 1st fight. Perhaps Fennech didn't want Hussien Hussien to go through that kind of punishment again.

But if that's the case, they shouldn't have taken the fight in the 1st place.

if hussein wasn't badly hurt at that point and still had some air to survive the round...jeff could have waited for the bell and assess the situation during the break. how much time was remaining when the fight was stopped?

anyway, jeff knows his fighter better...he must have stopped the fight based on this and his instinct. i hope he was right in his decision to stop the fight. if health is his prime consideration for his fighter than winning, then that's well and good, but that's also putting limit on knowing what his fighter can withstand and accomplish in a real fight.

Yeah... I just get the feeling that Jeff Fennech knew that Hussien Hussien wouldn't win the fight before they took it. (But there was big money on the table for a rematch)... So the 1st little sign of trouble, Fennech jumped in feet first and retired his fighter.

I totally agree with you, "health is his prime consideration for his fighter than winning", But I think they shouldn't have taken the fight in the 1st place if this was their way of thinking about it.

I might be wrong on the whole thing... This is just the way it appeared to me.

I totally agree with what you've been saying the last couple of posts. Fenech had his fighter's well being on mind, and he probably knew Hussein had NO chance at that point. Sure, it was a bit premature, but it wouldn't happened anyways a couple rounds later.

If I where Hussein i would fire my corner that was a blatant showing of lack of confidence in there fighter.
Those Two kd where more because he was off balance then because he was hurt.
