4. Boxing is in the shape it's in because the fights that need to be made are not happening. But in the same breath, IMO, boxing makes more superfights than MMA. Dana's greed and policy of fighters can only fight if they're under the UFC banner has killed more fights in the UFC than boxing (i.e Fedor vs Lesnar/Couture/Cain; UFC fighters vs Strikeforce/PRIDE fighters). While I agree with Dana White to a point, I think the person who is doing most harm to boxing is Al Hayman. Overpaid fighters. Not particularly entertaining styles. Mismatches. Using up most of HBOs money and time slots. And while the Hayman method may be good for lining the pockets of Berto and the like, none of it is good for boxing. Mayweather is just another Al Hayman puppet.Comment
