Amir KHAN on "Lopez Tonight" - Mon, Jul 25

Unified 140-pound titleholder Amir Khan will be a guest this evening on LOPEZ TONIGHT, the award winning late night talk show hosted by George Lopez. Broadcast on TBS, the show will air Monday tonight at 12:00 a.m. EST, 11:00 p.m. CST.

Looks like Oscar got Khan onto the show!

You gotta give Khan props. He's really putting in work. He could very well be the next star in boxing.

If he bounces back to England every time, it won't happen.

DAVID BECKHAM couldn't become a star in the U.S. ...think about that.

Khan fights 3 times a year: Twice in Las Vegas and Once in the UK.

He fights on HBO/SKY/PRIMETIME and his fights are also shown all over the middle east and Asia. He can become not just a star in the US but a global star. He just needs promotors who know what they are doing with him.

David Beckham couldn't become a star here because nobody gives a **** ass about soccer in America. I thnk Khan has a pretty good chance to blow up over here, that's if he stays on a roll vs. big name American fighters.

After the Judah fight he was front page, top story on ESPN.com. Sure it was probably because it was a slow sports day but oftentimes not even May or Pac can make it to the top story slot after a megafight.

Sucks that this show comes on when most of the East Coast is asleep. Regardless, it's good to see a boxer not named Floyd or PAC getting some recognition in the US media.
