That's the reason he has Bradley fighting Pacquiao after Marquez. He fully knows Mayweather will be free so when will you lot see this scoundrel for who he is?
Arum has no intention of Pacquiao fighting Mayweather

**** unoriginal ***** thread from the race warrior extrordinaire. Nothing to see here, just the same old ****. -
Khan: 'Me and Floyd already agreed to fight, we'll do it in the Summer before the Olympics at Wembley'
Mayweather: 'I would love to fight Amir Khan at Wembley... I am not worried about the Pacquiao thing at all. I can do whatever I want in this sport."
Roger: “Well I wouldn’t think he would fight Pacquiao right after fighting Victor Ortiz. I mean it would be crazy for Floyd to go in the ring with Pacquiao after fighting Victor Ortiz!"
Floyd Sr: "All he got to do is take the test then we got a fight... what? He agreed? oh... then I don't think he should fight Pacquiao"
Richard Schaefer: "I think Bradley will fight on the Pacquiao undercard. I hear/am speculating he was promised a Pacquiao fight"
*****s: "Pacquiao don't want to fight Mayweather!"
What awesome logic

This upcoming period will show clear as day who is avoiding the fight. Mayweather will have had his "1 fight a year" and Pacs fight is too late in the year to fight again in 2011 so both fighters will naturally have their next fight in 2012.
Floyd will have fought prior to Manny so if he starts negotiating another fight before waiting for Pacquiao to be free then you have to question his motives.
Should Floyd wait for Pac it will be obvious and Pacquiao would have no choice but to enter negotiations with Floyd after the JMM fight otherwise it is a clear duck on his side as there is no excuse they could give for not pursuing the Mayweather fight as they wouldn't be able to claim "Floyd doesn't wanna fight again this year" or anything like that...we'll see how it maps outComment

But history has shown Floyd will take some time off, and if he fights again, it'll be towards the end of 2012. Pacquiao has been fighting twice a year, and I double Floyd will be taking a March-April fight. I may be wrong, but wouldn't be surprised in the least. This upcoming period will show clear as day who is avoiding the fight. Perhaps this is right. Just ask yourself who has the most to lose? Floyd (no), Manny (more but no) GBP (more but no) or Bob Arum (ding ding ding). If Manny loses, top rank's cash cow isn't as marketable. If Mayweather loses, so what, GBP, his promotional partner, still has Khan and Canelo in the wings.Comment

Pacquiao lost to Morales and look at how big he's become since then. People love watching Manny because he brings excitement to the ring. Floyd is the one whose whole persona is tied into his '0'. If he lost, that would be completely devastating to his career and drawing power seeing as how the vast majority of people who watch him fight do so hoping he gets knocked out, or at least loses. If Manny lost, as he has in the past, he would still have fans and viewers. Can't say the same for Floyd.
He easily has more to lose than Manny, and he knows that.Comment

Manny has been beating up lesser top rank fighters (except for Hatton) since his promotional switch to top rank. Top ranks other fighters have been using a fight with manny to gain wider exsposure. If manny loses, that blueprint is out the window, especially if he retires. Manny hasn't lost since being with top rank (other than JMM draw). You can hate floyd but try to be objective. I said Bob, not Manny has the most to lose.Seriously?

Good point about floyd losing but that is more opinion than fact.Comment
