Bradley could have taken the fight against khan , beat him and he would propel himself to a fight with pacquiao and gotten more dates but that didn't happen . As long as khan is still in the division HBO will be interested in Bradley and if he wins even better! he will get dates . If he fights pac and gets destroyed what if khan doesn't have any interest in him anymore ? He might get stripped soon and khan could just fight for the vacant straps or he might outgrow the division by the time pac bradley is done. You are seriously underselling bradley here . Why else would he be getting offers to fight pac. He will have dates after his guaraunteed one

But for your other points I have to say I agree with most of it. I think most people (like myself) have been patient with Tim in understanding his contractual issues and a baby on the way. But when a fighter who is supposed to be at the top of his division, starts telling people he doesn't "care" what they think (comes off as a F.U. to his fans) he risks alienating the small amount of fans he does have.
I've been a big supporter of Bradley and I'm still a fan of his, but I think this is a big mistake on his part to say he has NO interest in fighting Khan. I agree with what Kev has been saying in his posts, save one thing... With out an ABSOLUTE guarantee from Bob Arum that Bradley is NEXT for Pacquiao, then Tim is playing not only a guessing game but the waiting game, and that's dangerous IMO. I'd say that even IF Mayweather was willing to fight Bradley, you'd think that his chances would be better if he were to fight/beat Khan and try to eliminate Khan from the Mayweather equation. Without doing so, what benefit can Bradley bring to the Mayweather table? None really, he doesn't generate the kind of money that Khan can, so of course Mayweather is gonna chose Khan over Bradley. As far as with Pacquiao, he fights Marquez in November, which means he won't fight again until next April or May - and as I said unless Tim has been GUARANTEED to be NEXT... it could be next November before he's even in the running. A LOT can happen in that time, there could be rematches should Pacquiao lose, etc. etc.
Being completely honest, Bradley needs Khan on his resume to be able to bring any sort of interest to Pac or May $$$ wise. Without him, he can continue to beat other guys (if he fights) and keep his "0", but he still won't bring the kind of money to the table that's needed to interest the 2 top WW in the world.
Bottom line... Bradley needs to fight and beat Khan for either Team May or Team Pac to even consider him to be a big enough name to bring in the bucks for a PPV. That's just the way it works with Pac and May.

Look how a lot of PRs criticize Mayweather's style but yet praise Calderon. It's all about the flag.

And Khan not wanting to fight Pac because they are now " friends " is absurd.
What the *** is up with that ?
Bradley is ready NOW, whereas both Khan and Roach have publicly stated that Amir is not ready yet.
Bradley has already been mentioned as an opponent for both, which is why he took an interim fight at welter vs Abregu. Now nobody can say that Pac/Floyd are selecting a JWW, and it is common for a champion to move up and challenge.
And I am still waiting to hear a suggestion as to who would be more qualified for a payday vs Pac/Floyd, than our favorite buckethead, Tim Bradley?
Floyd vs. Khan and Pac vs. ANYONE!! Pac would prolly choose Bradley to avoid ridicule from the boxing public if he chose Ortiz (post loss to Floyd) or Mike Jones.
Floyd vs. Bradley has NO ppv potential!! I'm surprised anyone thinks thats even an option.Last edited by thuggin_yo; 07-25-2011, 10:23 PM.
