not a huge surprise there. tim just wants to sell his alphabet belts for the highest buck possible. unfortunately for him pac and floyd don't care much about belts.
i really think he's counting on a pac fight , but arum is a prick not to be trusted very much. and they already have mike jones there for a backup. from the financial perspective neither of those two are any attraction.
like i said before bradley is not going to fight again, until khan moves up by the end of the year. he isn't afraid of khan imo , but don't want to risk the belts as without them his market value is zero.

Rome can come in and say whatever he wants. But, deep down he has to be disappointed. I'm a huge Bradley fan, huge. And, this whole time I refused to really criticize Bradley for all of this. Hell I still think he's better than Khan and would beat him H2H.

But, how you going to from "quit running Khan"(or words to that effect) to pretty much saying I'm not going to fight Khan after getting offered 50/50 on all accounts even UK PPV.

I understand the reason to want to fight Floyd and Pac. But, he just turned down a career high payday.

And, reading these comments that he just made. There's only one other conclusion and is that he ducked Khan. This is just like the whole Mayweather and Margarito thing. Is a duck, there's no sugar coating it. No matter what excuses are brought up. This is a duck. And, I'm highly disappointed in Bradley. Because, I never thought he would pull a move like this. That's why I'm a huge fan. But, damn....

This is what you get when you have Ring Magazine ranking him as #1 @ JWW........ the guy thinks he's king @ 140. GL losing to Pacquiao or Mayweather.

No way to sugar coat it. He ducked Khan plain and simple.
You could be right, but IF, Bradley were to land a fight with either Pacquiao or Mayweather next, then nobody will ever mention that again.

Folks would say..... what, ducking Khan to fight Pac or Floyd, kidding right?

I am not arguing with you, just pointing out that..... love it or hate it, Tim is still one step ahead of Khan, he is more likely to land a huge payday first because he is willing to fight both Pac and Floyd, he is ready now, he has already fought at 147, has already been mentioned as an opponent for both, and neither Manny nor Floyd really have a better option than Tim next up..... I can see him landing that fight, unless Arum was serious about Mike Jones.

This is pretty sad, he needs to be stripped and have Khan v Madiana/Guerrero fight for all the belts in December.

He can fight Floyd and Pac tomorrow. Doesn't take away that he duck Khan. Him fighting Floyd and Pac next would be seen as cashing out.

You can't go from in the beginning of the year saying quit running Khan. Getting 50/50 on everything career high payday to that point and then say I will not fight Khan. Because, I might get a chance at Floyd and Pac.

You could of had the best of Worlds.

He ducked him plain and simple. Anyone can make every single excuse they want. It doesn't take away that Bradley just pulled a Floyd to his Margarito in Khan and ducked him.

the problem is, Neither Floyd or Pac will fight until 2012 after their next fights. So what does that mean? Bradley is going to sit out until one of them becomes available? If he isn't, who is he going to fight? Surely, after reading his comments, its going to be someone that isn't a huge risk so thats going to rule Khan out. Thats a blatant and obvious duck. Its Daffy, its Donald.

how can he keep the belts for so long anyway? his last fight was 6 months ago and he's keeping 2 belts hostage there. on my book he'd need at least 1 more fight this year, or be forced to vacate. bradley's mind has been clouded by arum's promises of a pac fight, and the guy obviously went nuts.
