If hes smart he will fight pwill and beat him which would put him at a shot with martinez or maybe canelo
Paul has a terrible style for him because of his activity, Winky liking to catch punches on the gloves and forearms not to mention Winky isn't a huge puncher so when he does land the counter after being out thrown 3:1 it does nothing.
I like Winky but I think it's too late for him to have any impact if he comes back. 160 just doesn't have much happening. At his best he'd beat Martinez. But this is the 2nd long stretch of inactivity for him and after a lopsided loss in his last outing. I think Winky's done as a relevant fighter. Not out of the question for him to beat Chavez Jnr if he got that fight, but that seems to be Martinez' business to handle right now. Doubtful Winky still makes 154.
Jnr is a middleweight, Winky could still make 160 for Chavez or Williams.
It doesnt sound like Winky would get up for Lemieux or Golovkin. I think he wants to land a meaningful fight based on name, kinda like Tarver just did.
He should just stay out of the fight game, to me he's like a john ruiz/antonio tarver a good fighter yet his style just scares people away and never really gets the opportunity to fight the guys he should and make those big pay days as some fighters with different styles do.
I wasnt stating they were the same fighters or even comparing them what I was stating is that people found them boring, the styles werent what people with the big names want to fight. All 3 of them found it difficult to find fights based on this, sure later in their careers they were picking them up but after they were past their prime fighting days when in reality they were winning and they wernt given the opportunity to shine and be in the spot light until later in their careers. All 3 are far different when it comes to actual statistics and divisions they fought in but all 3 did find it hard to get those big name fights. Questions answered
