    Khan v Prescott - 3 Questions

1.) Is it now the time for the rematch?

2.) Does Prescott have to beat McCloskey to make it happen?

3.) Even if he does are Team Khan likely to turn it down in favour of Morales?

Won't happen. His camp already said they have moved on past Prescott.

      1) Khan would win easily but I would prefer him to rematch Prescott now than fight Morales.

      2) Yeah, I think Prescott beating McCloskey would have to happen for the rematch to take place.

      3) I think so. The Morales fight is probably already verbally agreed.

Why the hell would Khan fight Prescott? A Maidana rematch is more legit than fighting Prescott again, and Khan beat Maidana.

I don't see a rematch happening...Khan gains nothing in fighting Prescott other than redemption and he is not going to risk his whole career for it.

            1) No the choice is: Bradley>>Maidana-Guerrero winner>>Morales (bottom if the pile) Losing to Margarito and not avenging the loss never hurt Martinez. This KO will not hurt Khan.

            2) I suppose so but naa!

            3) Morales is above Prescott but is the third choice for the Xmas fight.

              1. no...becuase it's too risky of a fight with so ittle reward....im sure some of people think it's an easy fight for khan now since he's better fighter and all,..but there's a bigger possibilty that prescott is just amir khans kryptonite..like forest's mayorga......let prescot earn his shot and if he does'nt get past decnt oppnnets, khan not reamtching presscott will be forviven and fogotten.....like how sergio's loss to margo is forgiven...

              2. presscot beating mac clouskey is not gonna earn him a shot becuase khan already beat mc closkey

              3. yes, right fully so.....

Theres no money in a prescott rematch. No way would anyone buy that PPV especially on bargain basement primetime. Amir Khan is world class as a boxer, but i'm starting to think he's a busted flush financially. After last nite its clear he's not a big draw in Vegas, only a few thousand paying customers, most of them Judah fans I bet. I bet the PPV numbers were below average also. He's not that popular among real punters in the UK because of the way Frank Warren used to him fleece us in Khans early SKY PPV shows against total bums. Looks like he's in no-mans land right now. Golden Boy will need to rub him up against some more star names. i dont blame Amir personally but those around him have rightly been shown to be money-grubbers, with unrealistic ideas of how much he is worth and how popular he is in the Uk and worldwide. I expect if he ever fights mayweather he will receive more than he deserves but much less than he thinks he's worth

Im a Khan fan so would like to see him avenge his Prescott loss, but if he took the fight and won..it doesn't do much for his career, more of a personal thing really.

As mentioned in the thread, if Prescott was to lose against McKloskey that would probabaly end all talk of a rematch, and to be honest i think McKloskey will beat Prescott.

Id prefer to see him fight Bradley next, if not then Guerrero (if he beats Maidana). The likes of Morales / Prescott are less appealing IMO.

                    1) I'd rather Khan fight Prescott than Morales. I don't want Morales to get seriously hurt, which he will against Khan.

                    2) If Prescott beats McCloskey he will become the mandatory of Maidana/Guerrero winner. I don't think Prescott will beat McCloskey, who is southpaw with a good defense. Prescott couldn't even beat Kevin Mitchell.

                    3) Not sure what Team Khan would do tbh, the fight with Prescott makes more sense, but right now Morales is more relevant in the division - he proved that against Maidana. Prescott is only living off the Khan victory. He's not even ranked in the top-10.
