Fury haters got no ammo left

Rofl. I was glad in a sense when Fury won, because he has been subjected to some extreme thrashing and ridicule on these boards and others as well. I hate it when someone gets a bad rap immidiately, based on who he is and who/what his family is. There have been racist remarks made on his account, like "gypo" and "gypsy bastard", etc. It was all very lowly. Even moreso since Tyson Fury is Irish, white Irish. For your info, these "gypsies" are all pure Irishmen which got their name because they lived a nomadic life. In other words, they moved around a lot and lived in settlements, like gypsies. But Fury and his father do not live like that.

But above all, Fury was ridiculed for something that happened in an early fight, when he was still very unpolished and clumsy. No wonder, I'd like to see some of YOU being 6'9 and box! Last night he proved he has come a long way since that accident. He has also proven he can take a punch and that his defense has also improved a lot. He needs to get some respect from all of you for that performance.

I don't give a f.u.c.k how unpolished and clumsy you are. How the hell do you manage to detonate an uppercut off your own face? You've gotta admit that was funny?

True enough. The result surprised me I must admit, but it was a convincing enough win. I do feel rather sorry for Del-boy on missing out on that bout with Wlad; one suspects forever, now. Still, maybe Fury did him a favour in the end.

Let's hope Fury realizes he still has a long way to go before even thinking about a Klitschko fight himself. Trouble is the division is so poor at present there's very few in that gap (or should it be gaping chasm) between himself and the brothers K, either of whom would destroy him at the present. Haye would be a good fight, although one he would probably lose, but I can't see anything other than a fight with Vitali tempting David back into the ring - and that obviously can't happen before his oft-declared October 'retirement' date.

I think he knows that, unless he suffers from delusions. Right now, I'd like to see him against Dimitrenko and then maybe the Helenius-Lyakhovich winner. I do think Helenius prolly smashes him, but he needs to step up in class soon. Even Povetkin would be a good choice. Or Sosnowski...yep, Sosnowski would be the right test for him.
