Adamek had gotten the better of him upto that point. Arreola injured his hand, Adamek's shoes fell apart which obviously affected his movement. Adamek won the fight, get over it. And I didn't agree with the split decesion personally, I thought the victory was pretty clear cut.

The victory was fairly clear cut but very close and the hand injury made a huge difference to the way Arreola fought. Without the injury I think Arreola would very likely have won.

And that wasn't as good a version of Arreola as the current one in any case, as he's lost nearly 20lb since then.
